Augusto is a painter who reveals the reality of everyday life through elements that mark our culture. With unusual choices of color, human forms transcend formal perspectives, at times placing the accent on the absurd.
His paintings juxtapose historic concepts of our continent alongside aspects of daily life, enriching perceptions, especially for generations of young people to come, thus contributing to the cultural development of the fine arts in this country. Augusto's work has been viewed in more than 30 exhibits within Chile and internationally, including the Fine Arts Museum of Chile and Vanidades Gallery in Florida.
